Role Overview

We are looking for a data-driven Intermediate Paid Ads Manager to take ownership of media buying and strategy execution. This role is perfect for a specialist who has spent the last 3–5 years "in the platforms" and is looking for a seat at the table in a growing agency.

The Growth Path: As a small agency, we offer a direct line for career advancement. A successful hire in this role has the immediate opportunity to grow into a Senior Strategist and eventually the Director of Paid Media, leading our entire department as we scale.


Key Responsibilities

  • Scale & Spend: Manage and optimize monthly ad spends ranging from four figures to upwards of 6-figure budgets across a diverse portfolio of accounts.
  • Campaign Lifecycle: Plan, build, and scale full-funnel campaigns primarily on Google Ads (Search, PMax, Display, YouTube) and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), with opportunities to expand into emerging platforms.
  • AI Augmentation: Proactively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to amplify human creativity, automate routine tasks, and generate deep-dive audience insights.
  • Technical Tracking: Build and maintain sophisticated conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4 to ensure 100% data accuracy.
  • Performance Reporting: Design and present actionable performance dashboards in Looker Studio, translating complex data into clear growth stories for clients.
  • Strategic Optimization: Continuously A/B test creatives, landing pages (Shopify/Duda), and bidding strategies to improve ROAS and CPA.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on media buying experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Location: Ability to work remotely but must be able to attend regular in-person strategy meetings at our London, Ontario office.
  • Strong analytical skills: A deep understanding of attribution models, GA4, and Google Search Console, Google Ads Editor, etc.
  • Communication: Strong ability to explain the "why" behind the data to internal teams in an effort to improve performance. Comfortable working remotely & on frequent video conference (daily).


Preferred (The "Extra Mile"):

  • AI & Dev Background: Familiarity with development (HTML/JS) or a strong background in AI prompting/automation is highly preferred. We use AI to augment our skills, not replace them.
  • Certifications: Active Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications.
  • Agency Experience: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.

  • Ad Platforms: Google Ads, Meta Ads Platform.
  • Analytics & Tracking: GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Merchant Center.
  • Proficiency Tools: ClickUp, Looker Studio, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
  • AI Tools: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude.
